Mathematics is a subject in which every student can succeed. Just as with any job however, you need the right tools for success. As students enter the middle and upper grades of their mathematics education, multi-step real world problems become the norm. Computation can be done by hand, but it not the main focus of these courses. I am constantly looking for new and effective ways to engage students in a subject I love.
