These materials will be used in small group, whole class, and independent centers. With continuous use and repetition of the skills, students will become more affluent with the skills needed to excel on their standardized tests. Students don't always want to read, especially when it's school work! What I like most about these materials, is that they can be used in different ways. They can use them in a large group to work collaboratively with others. They can also be used in a small group setting so the teacher can see if they are on-track to understanding what is being read. The materials can also be used as an independent center to allow the students to work at their own pace. Students enjoy fun materials while learning. These materials can be utilized to meet the learning styles of all students in the way they are manipulated. Reading is the basis for all subjects- it is essential that students understand and be able to use the skills necessary to achieve. Why not make it fun?1
