The data is clear: there is consistent evidence that students who participate in international travel study have higher levels of confidence. These students also have better attendance rates after their trips, higher ACT scores, and feel more in control of their own futures. Due to the financial hardships that so many of our children face, an experience like this would be unrealistic if not for the reduced rates we have been granted through our travel partner and the generous donations of those who believe in the blessings of travel. It is my personal belief that wonderful opportunities such as this for students to gain a new perspective of the inter-connectivity of our world, to view historical locations that bring what they have learned to live, and to gain insights into the world around them should not only be granted to students who have the financial gift to fund these experiences themselves. All students deserve these opportunities, but cannot have them without your help!

About my class
