Hello!!! Welcome to my classroom. I am the language arts intervention teacher at Kuna Middle School in Idaho. My classroom is unique because I have 7th and 8th graders mixed in all my classes. I am incredibly fortunate because, since I am the intervention teacher, my class sizes are much smaller than most. This allows me to meet all my students on their individual level of needs. This does not mean my classroom lacks in personality, noise or issues. Many of my students have underlying behavior issues or learning disabilities that have placed them in my room. We all find new ways each and everyday to work and learn together as our own unique community. My students are passionate about learning and want to succeed academically so they can ultimately graduate from my room and move up into a general language arts classroom. This requires more work for my students but they are motivated to reach their goals.
