Thanks for visiting our page! Our classroom contains First and Second graders with Pervasive Developmental Disorder (Autism). My school is very welcoming and accepting of all students. My students are included in the general education classroom for 75%+ of the day. The class utilizes best practice for children with autism combined with Applied Behavior Analysis and TEACCH to provide a holistic treatment approach. Each student is unique and they all learn at different rates. Our main goal is to teach them the academic, functional communication, socially appropriate behaviors for them to thrive in the real world. Ms. DeWitt
