Several of my students are often squirmy, whether it is because of ADHD or because they are somewhere on the spectrum for autism, so I believe having a few of these seats available will allow the students to stay on task and participate in class without disrupting others. The ink will allow the students to create designs on a computer, print, then we can turn those into prototypes using our 3D printer. This will give my students the ability to try, test, and retry using the design process! This may not sound like a very important request, but when roughly 50-60% of my students do not have a computer with internet access at home, this is vital for them to be able to create and learn how to make mistakes and not give up.
