The goal of Oh! What A Night! is a Family Literacy Night Engagement. The activity is both two fold: to build parent/family knowledge, interests and resources for parents for reading and writing. We are planning for an event that will engage parents about the fundamentals of reading and stress the importance of the children's reading levels, abilities and the support needed in the home. The majority of the funds will be spent on age appropriate books and material resources for the students. These are effective ways of supporting children's reading and writing. We will provide light snacks, activities for children and workshops for the parents and give away books to each child at the end of the evening.
