To shape 21st century learners, these Ozobot robots will assist in creating critical thinkers. Students will be able to create, collaborate and communicate the programs they will code to successfully complete the task or challenge. One lesson I would incorporate would involve the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS). Students will work in groups of 3 and create a model using the Ozobots to show how the Earth orbits the Sun. Another NGSS standard that can be covered using the Ozobot would be to create a model of the circulatory system where the students will code the robot to show how the blood flows though the body. In Math, the students would use the Ozobots to reinforce Geometry terms by making maps with varying dimensions. Using Robotics will give my students a hands on approach to reinforcing the concepts across subjects.
