A classroom environment should not only promote rigor, but build rapport. It is more about the social-emotional than the physical. My students deserve a sense of ownership and belonging when they enter our classroom, and what better way to do this than by displaying pictures of us as learners, amidst milestones, and at holidays. Pictures capture memories, pause moments, and send a message- we are family! These photographs will help prioritize the importance of building a sense of belonging and personalize the first grade experience for each and every beloved student.

About my class
