Our class is full of bright, talented students who are eager to read anything that they can get their hands on! Help us unlock their potential! Everyday, students are asking for series books like Stink, Ramona and Flat Stanley so they can work together in book clubs. However, our class library has a limited number of these high interest books, which means that they cannot read and discuss the same book together as a book club. We have seen a direct correlation between student motivation and giving them the opportunity to work together and share their ideas about what they are reading. Giving students the choice of what they want to read is a huge motivation. Our class has asked us for these series books and we know that they will increase the time they spend reading, encourage rich discussion among students and foster a love of books and learning.
