Students sit in desks all day long. They need a break. I love that students like my class because they get that break that they need. They often get to be up and moving around working on projects and creating something. However, we do still spend time in our seats too. I am trying to create more options for students during this time in our class. They can, of course, sit in a chair at a table, but I have noticed that some of my students prefer to stand by the counters in the kitchens just because they have been in desks all day. Stools by the counters would offer another option for students.
