My kindergartners love to be hands-on. This is a very active group this year. We spend a large portion of our year learning to count and recognize numbers. I would love to have some new activities and resources for my students to practice their counting. We also are learning our ABC's and the sounds the letters make. Many of my students are also trying to develop good hand strength and hand-eye coordination as they begin learning to write. The bean bags, bead lacing, and pattern blocks will all help to work on those skills. One of my students has limited language skills and loves technology. I would love to get this iPad mini with case for her to do some learning activities that will be engaging for her. There are also apps I can download to give her ways to communicate her wants and needs with me. We love to paint and create. The art canvases will be a great surprise for parents at Christmas and the smocks they will appreciate as they will protect their school uniforms.
