Our ASD students will use these materials to do this activity with our peer to peer group to increase socialization with an age appropriate activity that everyone can do independently. The rhythm provides organization and joint attention for everyone to have fun and be successful! Movement and music grow the brain and this activity provides both. The class has started cardio drumming with 7 balls and everyone eagerly waits their turn. Adding these balls will allow everyone to be able to do the activity at one time to create beautiful, organizing rhythm!!! Seeing their smiling faces when everyone is in sync is AMAZING and heartwarming!
