The document camera will be used to display learning materials such as books, math manipulatives, and writing samples. The document camera will ensure that all students are able to see the demonstration, and that actions made by other students can be followed carefully by peers. This document camera will help to capture the attention of my students by displaying teacher and student work and problem-solving on our classroom SMART Board. This will ensure that all students are able to see and follow along, not just the ones at the front! The camera will also be used to record video of student-teacher conferences and performance assessments. The iPad will be used to photograph and video student work. These pictures will be sent home to parents to keep them up to date on their students' work in the classroom. The students will also use the iPad for research and online assessments throughout the school year.
