Thanks for reading about our project! I am a music teacher in a Title 1 rural K-12 public school in Wyoming. My students are multi-faceted musicians who are skilled in many genres of music! This year, I have students with a particular interest in guitar performance. My students are even starting a band called the Ghost Runners! This band has played at school concerts, on the radio, at coffee shops, and we are striving to obtain high quality instruments (one instrument at a time!) so that we can sound our best. Replacing our ancient set of acoustic guitars with high-quality interest will raise interest, morale, and provide incentives for students to practice!
