I am trying to design a cool down spot for my students. My goal is to provide multiple manipulatives to help my students feel and gain a sense of namaste in times of stress! In times of stress/anxiety it's important for students to have a spot where they can just breathe! Weighted objects such as stuffed animals and blankets can help with anxiety. Giving the feeling of comfort! Yoga is also a fantastic way to relieve stress and anxiety. Our kiddos social and emotional heath is so important! By establishing a chill spot. I will teach my students the importance of mental and physical well being.
