Students want to be seen as well as heard during music performances. Currently, my choir stands in concert formation on the gym floor, and kids in the back have a hard time seeing the teacher as well as the audience. Risers at my school would be helpful for music assemblies, as well as other school events, such as awards assemblies and kindergarten graduation. Risers can be used in the music classroom as regular seating, then folded and transported to the different rooms within the building. It will improve the looks and sound of our performers, and create pride within the groups!
