Currently, my students are standing for the entire hour or sitting with poor posture on our aging risers. This makes singing with proper vocal technique very difficult. We have two choirs with 101 members total. Our largest choir has 69 students. We desperately need chairs so that students can have an assigned spot in choir and can sit in a chair instead of standing. Students need an assigned spot so that attendance is easier, and they do not wander from that spot as they stand. Our current set of risers is falling apart and not meant for students to sit or stand on every day. Help us sit during choir rehearsal!
