Each day during class my students meet in small groups for help with difficult skills, to collaborate on exciting projects, and to deepen their understanding through enrichment activities. The dry erase small group table is a perfect place for these activities to occur. The dry erase surface allows students to work out their thinking directly on the table. These resources will not only foster collaboration but allow students flexible seating options to encourage movement during long classes. A 75-minute class can be a long time for students to sit and work. By putting balance chairs at the table, students will have the opportunity for movement during class to help with focus and engagement.
