The iPads will make a direct, positive impact on my students' achievement because iPads require 100% student engagement and more accountability than paper and pencil tasks. One way I will use the iPads is as an independent learning station. Students will complete various differentiated tasks by scanning QR codes, and can send their work directly to me to check electronically. This way, I will quickly and clearly be able to assess their knowledge and misconceptions. This project will make an immense difference as I am focusing on creating a 21st Century classroom. Another way I will use the iPads is for the website Front Row. This an outstanding website that allows students to practice various math, reading, science, or social studies tasks that are adaptive to their learning levels/needs. The website will provide video tutorials to walk students through new and challenging content, or to provide reinforcement for areas they are currently trying to master. Students will be able to access Front Row on the iPads while I work with small groups of students. We need these iPads to make all of the above possible!
