Equity. Opportunity. These are words that come to mind when I picture my K-5 students' future music lessons with Chromebooks in hand. With the funding of this project, over 500 students would have the opportunity to use music technology in elementary school. We can easily create music projects and concerts using Google Chrome Lab, Incredibox and Bandlab. These digital programs are so phenomenally accessible that students of all ages and abilities can make their own music from day 1. Many music educators view learning music technology as a middle or high school endeavor. That time is over! Help my K-5 elementary school students embark on their 21st century music education today!
