Students learn in a variety of ways. The way they sit during learning should be no different. With floor seating and regular seating available, I made my table with standing at it in mind, but I realize that even those who prefer to stand may want to sit at some time. These stools for the table will allow students to have the ability to sit if their legs get tired. Having the ability to sit on a stool at a high table and stand next to the stool or even just put a knee on the stool when you want will allow all students the comfort they deserve while learning. Readjusting where you sit or stand is a natural action and, if that motion is allowed, students will be able to have longer periods of focus.
