Active play time priceless! However, our active kindergarten-first grade students do not have a playground or playground equipment to accommodate their social and physical development. This greatly limits their social/emotional interactions, which lessens their chances of being able to work together collectively, learn the importance of sharing and problem-solving together. We ask our students if they could have a playroom, what it would look like. They had a long list of items that most children get a chance to play with and experience everyday play. The kindergarten and first-grade teachers cleaned out a room and they would appreciate any donation you are able to give to support the students' active playtime. Research shows that when children are not active their bodies began to age very rapidly. Any donation that you are willing to make would be greatly appreciated.
