The standing tables will give students the option of standing to complete their work, on an appropriate surface and at the right height to work while they stand. My students are active, highly engaged students who just struggle to sit all day long. Standing with their papers or laptops on a higher stable surface will help them move appropriately. These standing tables will allow them to choose where to work, and what is best for them. This will encourage them to make healthier decisions. Research has shown that sitting all day is unhealthy for everyone, and standing tables can help students combat this habit!
