Many of my special education students have varied attention and sensory issues. It is can be difficult for them to sit for long periods of time in standard classroom seating. Often times, they become easily distracted during instruction and vital instructional time is lost. Flexible seating options, such as the wobble chairs that I am requesting for this project, will help my special education students remain on task and complete their learning. I feel that if my students had seating such as these wobble chairs availabe to them to utilize, they would show even greater growth on their individual learning goals.
