I teach in a public school special education program for 18-21 year old students. These students are learning transition skills to help them move towards a successful adulthood. I case manage students with physical and health disabilities, and I teach reading skills to all levels of readers. Our school does not have a parent organization to raise funds for extra materials and equipment. We are an inner city program and the majority of our students are low income.
