There is so much learning taking place in our classroom, but not all students learn best in a chair or rug spot all day. Therefore, we hope to have flexible seating options to increase movement, comfort and academic success for all our students. Our goal is to create a comfortable, working environment for all our students' learning styles and individual needs. Seating options would include balance balls, wobble cushions, fidget bands and floor pedals. Flexible seating will allow students to make choices to help keep them focused and motivated to learn. It will also help build their independence and self-awareness as they figure out what works best for them. We are eager to see the benefits flexible seating will provide us!
