My students come from military families as well as low income households. My students have exceptional needs in the area of mild moderate disabilities within the elementary public school setting. My students have learning disabilities, autism, deaf/hard of hearing, attention deficits, and emotional impairments. In my class, we are individuals with strengths and challenges; we work on defining ourselves rather than our disabilities dictating who we are. We are strong and overcome our obstacles along the way.
