I am requesting Learning Science Activity Tubs for my students. Within these tubs, "students can investigate 8 important science concepts! Each tub includes 40 cards with engaging, standards-based activities covering 5 core curriculum areas—from math and language to science and social studies." My students are ecstatic about science this year! It is difficult for students to understand science concepts when they are not given the opportunity to experience them. These activities will help my students understand a wide range of concepts. Science is best learned by experiencing it first hand.This project will make a difference because it will actively engage my students and they will enjoy exploring in our science class. We will be using these items throughout the whole year. These materials will allow our students to use hands on experiences to generate their own conclusions, to explore, and discover. Not only would my students benefit from these activities, but so would my team. I would be sharing these materials, so multiple science classes would be able to be actively engaged. I also requesting "Instant STEM Activities" book. I know the importance of science. Students are loving "Experimental Fridays." Students love doing science experiments.
