All students will use the resources as independent practice to help increase language proficiency of ELL students as measured through TELPAS. Resources will be used to plan for listening, speaking, reading, and writing activities as referenced in the English Language Proficiency Standards. Furthermore, Spanish speaking students will have the opportunity to work with English speaking students to help promote confidence in using the English language to communicate while working with other students in their stations. While in their stations students will be able to use the Kore Adjustable Wobble Chairs as they need to wiggle and move. The English Language Development Skill-Building Complete Set will aid in helping students develop their English Language while learning in centers. Finally, the Guided Reading Collection will be used by teachers in a small group reading setting to help close the reading gaps for students. All these resources will be used to incorporate ELL researched-based strategies with planning, instruction, and learning environment. Finally resources will help identify informal methods for proficiency and progress level in both Spanish and English.
