Imagine sitting in a hard, plastic chair for many hours a day. Imagine having built up energy that you might not be able to expel, sitting in those seats. With flexible seating choices, my super 2nd graders will have the opportunity to make decisions that help them maximize their learning potential. When you can chose, you are often more content; when you are more content, you become open to new ideas, new learning, and are more creative in nature. I am requesting to purchase 5 Wobble Chairs and 6 Wobble Cushions. The stools will be placed at round, gathering tables where students can work in small group environments. These stools are wonderful for students to sit on and have the capability to move from left to right, and back and forth, while learning. For the student that prefers to sit lower to the ground, the Wobble Cushions can be placed at a table lower to the floor level or can be moved into our classroom library. These flexible seats will assist students to flex their minds!
