We are in an age of technology where all of our students are tech savvy. Many times we've been in a classroom where students are eager to learn but need additional resources to help them understand content. Their are many devices available such as laptops, cellphones, translation devices, e-readers available. However, the best choice will be to provide students with a tool that combines all of these options. Using technology in the classroom engages student learning and helps advance it as well. Keeping this information in mind, I want to bring iPads into the classroom as an additional resource for students to use for translation purposes, for researching ideas collaboratively in groups, and to allow students to work on language specific applications to help them advance in language. Therefore it could also be used as a classroom tool and or a means of differentiation in the classroom.
