Students in my second grade class can't wait for Fun Friday centers! This year I'd like to engage them in STEM skills by making our Friday afternoons filled with discovery games and tools that build engineering, science and math learning. Each item on our shopping list, including marble runs and snap circuits, will be shared be multiple students. After their Fun Friday learning time, students will reflect on what they learned by writing answers to 5 guided questions about their activity. These STEM materials are so amazing because they aren't just one lesson - each can be manipulated in so many ways that kids can use it over and over again and still have some new knowledge gained from their experience!
