My students are the sunshine of our school, at least that is what I think! These students are high achieving students who are eager to learn more and more each day. Each day they come to school with the goal to succeed. These students have taught me so much about perserverance. When an obstacle comes their way, they do not let it stop them; these students will push through exhausting all avenues until they succeed. I am very lucky to be able to loop with these students this year. I am very excited to be able to teach and impart knowledge to them again next year. They are a true joy. Our school is a low income school. We service students from low socio-economic statuses. These students are generally not given the same advantages at home as those peers of a more stable status. Many of these students receive free or reduced lunches. We have a sizable hispanic population at our school. As an educator, I want nothing more than to see my students to succeed in their education.
