The first item I am requesting is a storage cart. Currently, with the limited funds that I have, I am using a plastic bin to store their notebooks and textbooks and it is severely damaged. With the new material organizer, my students can efficiently retrieve and organize their materials needed for class such as: interactive math journal, problem solving notebook, etc. I am also requesting printing paper due to district wide budget cuts limiting our supply. We are only provided with one pack of paper and this will expand the activities that my students will be able to do as my lesson are done through an interactive notebook. The stools will provide an alternative for my small group instruction as we are currently spending intervention time on a small carpet on the floor. With these stool, my students will be able to do math at a kidney table instead. As I desire to expose my students to different technological intervention programs such as i-Ready, Imagine Math and Think Through Math, the headphones that I am requesting will assist them in being able to fully focus on the assigned program without being distracted. It will also help the non-english speaker to relieve their learning anxiety and difficulties.
