This project is important to myself and my classroom needs as it allows students the opportunity to move throughout the lesson, while still focusing on the task at hand. With these tools, children will have the opportunity to focus more of their attention on their learning assignments, listening in whole group, and allow them to move while they complete their tasks. Students will be able to choose how they learn the best, and how they bond and body work together. In my classroom this year, over half of my students need greater support in their social-emotional growth. (For example, working on staying on task, appropriate responses to peers or adults, and handling daily emotions, etc.). I am asking for classroom fidget tools like wobble chairs.
