My students absolutely love when we have STEM time in our classroom. This is a time when students can learn to work as a team and create, invent, and express themselves. The Goobi construction set, Skoolzy Straws, Discovery magnetic tiles, and other materials will be an awesome addition to our classroom. The Skoolzy Straws allow students to create towers. With the Goobi magnetic construction set students can build three dimensional structures and will allow creativity and engineering skills to come together. As the year progresses so can the complexity of the task that students are asked to preform with the materials, such as creating a blueprint before building. These materials will provide students with the opportunity to collaborate with peers, develop STEM skills, and give students access to meaningful activities when they have completed a classroom assignment. With these materials my students will be able to imagine and create!
