Our class is a vibrant active classroom full of energetic children. We live in a northern state with a cold winter climate fast approaching. We need tissues to dry students' tears or wipe stuffy noses. We need soap to wash little hands. I need gloves to apply band aids, when students scrape a knee or have a cut. We need wipes for keeping areas clean and sanitary, especially when a student loses a tooth (an almost daily experience in first grade)! I need tissues to wipe the tears and noses of my first graders' angelic faces, we need paper to write on and crayons to color our drawings of our dreams.
