Having a large rug ( 7'6 inches x 12') will provide enough space for my students to sit comfortably during whole group instruction. The large rug is placed at the front of the classroom and is used many times through out the day for math, literacy, stories, sharing and much more. By donating to our project you will be helping improve students attention and focus which ultimately increases their academic achievement. My students are eager to learn and be part of a classroom community. They will be able to stay focused and engaged without being interrupted and getting bumped by students around them.

About my class
