I often hear people make statements that gifted learners do not have the needs that other students have. This is not true. Gifted learners have academic and social and emotional challenges just like other students. Many gifted learners are unorganized because their minds move very fast and they forget to attend to details like putting papers away in places that can be easily accessed later. This causes frustration and can impede success. I believe that binders can help to teach that organization can alleviate stress and help make their lives easier.
