The resources I have selected will provide my students the opportunity to learn real-life skills to help them after high school. The real-life situation games, and ATM machine as well as the various other materials will teach my students how to act in certain situations and work with others. It will prepare them for jobs and be independent. One thing I really focus on teaching my students is using money and how to properly budget and make sure we have enough. The ATM machine will allow my students to use real money and practice using a debit card so they can go shopping and order food and do various activities and be able to manage their money and pay for their own things. We have monthly community outings where we go on field trips to various locations and our students order food, shop, and do other things where they purchase things if they are able to practice these skills in class they will be more comfortable and ready to do this out in the real world.
