My students are a vibrant group of kindergartners who are excited about the upcoming school year. My students school year got off to a rocky start due to the struggles that some of our families are facing as a result of Hurricane Harvey. The recent hurricane in our city has left many families displaced and in need of rebuilding after such devastation.It's my mission to help my students have a school year to remember filled with creative learning experiences. My school is a title one school. The majority of our students are on free or reduced lunch, and from low- income households. I would love for my students to have vibrant, resources available to them to assist in their exploration of learning new things, and making real world connections. Kindergarten is very vital to young students growth and development. With proper instruction, and resources students can flourish in academics, social and emotional development.
