Help me be more productive when working from home so I can better support students and families. I primarily work with students with disabilities. In these crazy times, we have been back and forth from in-person to remote learning. Throughout that time it has been difficult to maintain a space to meet with the students online in my home and have adequate technology to be effective. I am often hosting IEP meetings, student therapy sessions, and often have to share my screen making it difficult for me to see the student or participants on the Zoom call. Part of my job is to watch nonverbal, gauge emotion, and help to support students and parents through this tough time. With a second screen I would be able to share my screen, but also keep an eye on the zoom participants in order to better support everyone's mental health as well as my own.
