It’s difficult to focus on the task at hand when your teacher is fiddling with chalk or posters and has his back to you. I’m sure that’s how my students feel. It’s certainly how I felt when I was in Middle School. Teaching in a low-income school has been difficult and one of the most difficult challenges has been the lack of supplies. We have managed to accomplish quite a bit with what little we have because of our strong desire to succeed.
