With a classroom rug that has places designated for each student to sit, it will be easier to know where each student's space is to quickly get ready to learn. This also will help students pair up quickly to share their thoughts and knowledge as well as get into groups to achieve maximum learning. Students learn better when they have visual guidelines. It helps to be more independent and observant as they use items in the classroom to guide them how to conduct themselves. Students learn best while they talk and share their ideas; a carpet will give them the space to do so. A bookshelf will be an item where books are displayed and a visual that can inspire students to read.
