I would like to use the requested items to create a learning environment within my science classroom that goes beyond the prescribed curriculum. I would like to create independent work stations where my students can use the items below to enhance their understanding of science concepts and understand how it relates to the world around them. The digital microscope will allow my students to investigate specimens and look at them from different perspectives. The digital camera will allow my students to connect science to their environment through photography. The laptop will serve as a vehicle for my students to upload and download the images captured through the digital microscope and the digital camera. It will also be used for research. The discover kits will be used as exploration stations for my students to design and create different structures so that they can connect what we are learning in the classroom to real world examples.
