It's not a secret that kids are ACTIVE and need to move around frequently. I want to provide specialized seat cushions, wobble chairs, and balance balls that will encourage my active students to stay on task better than a traditional chair at a traditional desk. We take many "breaks" (sing a silly song, do a goofy dance, exercise, etc.) throughout the day, and there are several opportunities to work around the room on different tasks, but there are also times that students need to sit at a table/desk to complete an assignment. By donating to this project, you will provide unique seating options for my students to use everyday. Kids that are easily distracted and can't sit on a chair for more than a minute at a time can use a wobble chair pad to help them stay on track. Students that rock back and forth while they work will now have a wobble chair to safely move around. Some kids just need to bounce, wiggle, and move, so a balance ball seat will be perfect for them.
