Students in my classroom will use the materials I am requesting on a daily basis. I would like to assign projects through Google Apps for Education and daily math fact practice with our school purchased programs, Reflex and Sumdog. If my students have access to Chromebooks they will be able to practice math fact fluency, complete assignments in real time, create collaborative documents in Google Docs as well as presentations on Google Slides. The students can take pictures of their work to share with the whole class, me, or their parents. This will allow me to create a portfolio to document mastery of math skills. Having access to Chromebooks in the classroom will allow my students the opportunity to complete these projects and enhance their learning as well as prepare for end of the year tests and exams that are computer based. These Chromebooks will be a game changer for my students! Many do not have access to computers at home and will love being able to work on the computer at school. My project today is for 6, but my goal is for a class set of 20. Your donation will make a difference in their lives!
