Flexible classrooms give students a choice in the kind of learning space that works best for them. Essentially, I want to create an environment that helps students be their very best learning selves. The benefits of flexible seating include using up excess energy, increasing motivation, better attention and focus, and improved behavior. The balance ball and wobble chairs will also provide students an opportunity to improve core strength and posture. The fidget bands, in particular, will benefit several of my students with special sensory needs. The stools will provide additional portable options for seating when meeting in groups throughout the classroom. Flexible seating will help create a classroom environment that is conducive to open collaboration, engagement, and creativity. A flexible classroom is fundamental to accommodate the different learning styles and needs of my students. I want my students' learning space to foster attainment of learning goals.
