The most effective way to prepare our students to be critical thinkers and active global citizens is to keep them informed of the latest worldwide current events. Time for Kids is our resource of choice for achieving this mission. This subscription will prove valuable to both parents and students! Time for Kids will be delivered as both a hard copy and digital copy for each student. Students will explore, learn, and discuss in the classroom, while parents will be given access to their child’s account, which will allow them to also keep up to date with worldwide current events! “Timeforkids.com also includes key articles with Spanish translation, read-aloud functionality, and embedded vocabulary support” (timeforkids.com). In addition, students will have access to the archive vault of Time for Kids, which offers 95+ years of content. I, as the teacher, will be provided with lesson plans and additional worksheets and assessments for students.
